How far in advance should we book?
Xandavi Entertainment is currently booking into 2027, so the earlier the better — popular wedding dates (spring/fall weekends) fill up fastest. A quick availability check costs nothing, so reach out even if your date is a year out.
What’s the deposit and cancellation policy?
A deposit of 25% of your package price reserves your date (add-ons are settled in the balance, not the deposit). The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. See the full Deposit & Cancellation Policy for details.
What areas do you serve?
Grand Prairie and the greater DFW metro area. Travel is included locally (0–30 miles); see the Services & Packages page for travel rates beyond that.
What makes Xandavi Entertainment different from a typical DJ?
You get a DJ and a live saxophonist in one entertainer, instead of hiring two separate vendors. Full DJ sets can be blended with live sax during cocktail hour or throughout your reception — see the Premium and Elite packages for how that’s built in.
Do you offer officiant services?
Yes — I’m an ordained officiant and can perform your ceremony as part of your booking. Legal requirements to solemnize a marriage vary by state and county, so we’ll confirm what’s needed for your specific venue during planning. See Services & Packages for pricing.
Can we add live saxophone to a package that doesn’t already include it?
Yes — a Sax/EWI feature set (20–30 minutes) can be added to the Starter or Vibe packages. See the “Live Music” add-on section on the Services & Packages page for pricing.
Do you take song requests?
Yes. For weddings and private events, requests are welcome and get worked into the set where they fit the flow of the night. For Karaoke Night, guests queue their own songs directly.
Can I give you a must-play / do-not-play list?
Absolutely — send both in advance. I’ll do my best to honor them while still reading the room to keep the event successful. Explicit/uncensored content is only played if requested in writing.
Do you provide MC / announcement services?
MC and announcements are included in the Vibe, Premium, and Elite packages. It can be added to the Starter package separately — see Services & Packages for pricing.
What do you need from us or the venue?
A standard power outlet within reasonable reach, safe load-in access and parking, and a performance area of roughly 10×10 ft — with weather/shade protection if the event is outdoors.
Are you insured?
Yes — Xandavi Entertainment carries $1,000,000 per-occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate business liability insurance. Documentation can be provided to your venue if required.
What if your equipment fails during the event?
I bring reasonable backup gear where practical and make best efforts to restore service quickly if something goes wrong. Brief interruptions resolved during the event don’t affect your booking.
What’s included in Karaoke Night?
Karaoke Night is a standalone 3-hour service: a mic, lyrics display, and a song queue for your guests to run themselves — no DJing or MC included, just you, your friends, and the mic. It can also be added on to a booked DJ package instead of booked standalone; see Services & Packages for pricing either way.
